What is #GivingTuesday?

GivingTuesday is a global day of generosity where people and nonprofit organizations come together with the goal of transforming their communities and supporting issues that create positive change. It was created in 2012 ith with the simple idea of encouraging people to do good and perform simple acts of kindness.

Why You Should Get Involved?

I think we can all agree that a global day of giving is an awesome thing and a day like this should be celebrated every day. But the power of #GivingTuesday is the awareness that is created on a single day to celebrate kindness, giving, and the actual work of doing something positive. It is this awareness and overall spirit of giving that makes participation worthwhile for any organization.

As a nonprofit organization or ministry, you benefit just by participating because organic engagement takes place on Giving Tuesday.

Are You Ready?

Giving Tuesday is the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving. It follows the trend of Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday but its purpose is to spark charity giving for a single day out of the year.
