AHERO (America's Heroes Enjoying Recreation Outdoors) connects Veterans with patriotic members of local communities by organizing outdoor events and social activities. AHERO was organized and is operated by OIF and OEF Marine Corps and Army Veterans who understand the challenges today's war Veterans face in reengaging the civilian world. More than 95% of every dollar raised by AHERO goes directly to Veterans in support of this mission with a small percentage allocated to administrative expenses.

Studer Community Institute

The Studer Community Institute is focused on improving the Pensacola community’s quality of life. We do that by focusing on skill building for employees and businesses and creating tools and interventions to help parents understand the power and importance of early brain development.

Pyramid

In 1994, Pyramid opened its the doors, primarily to provide services for adults with severe intellectual and developmental disabilities. Pyramid Tampa opened in 1998. With it began Pyramid’s unique visual and performing arts programs, created as the company’s leadership sought ways to engage individuals whose cognitive, physical and behavioral characteristics did not lend themselves to traditional learning strategies.

Veterans Memorial Park Foundation

The mission of Pensacola Veterans Memorial Park is to honor the memory of those who have given their lives in the service and defense of the United States of America. In demonstrating by example the sacrifice that love and duty sometime require of a free people they have placed themselves eternally in the grateful memory of all Americans. Veterans Memorial Park exists as a place of repose and veneration for the spirits of the slain, to be kept forever free of discord and contention.
